Located just north of Fayetteville, The Carolina Barn at McCormick Farm sits on a second-century family farm, accompanied with lush fields, a small pond, and cows in the distance. The venue boasts a picture-perfect bridal and groom’s suite for the couple and their attendants to get ready before the ceremony. No detail was missed when designing any aspect of this venue. With multiple indoor and outdoor ceremony options, The Carolina Barn is the perfect venue for any style of wedding or event.
Southern. Sophisticated. Modern. Three words that drove the design on this project. We wanted to create a vision not seen at The Carolina Barn yet to showcase the venue and vendors in the local area. We created an Open House for local engaged couples, industry professionals and others to see what really could be possible at The Carolina Barn. Rocky Top Catering provided delicious small bites and The Bakehouse provided desserts. On The Rocks Bartending handed out bubbly drinks to complete our champagne wall. Ward Productions provided lighting and jamming music to set to the mood.
Photographer Morgan Caddell captured each detail and design aspect perfectly to show the beauty that the space can achieve.
Blush Bridal provided a stunning Maggie Sottero wedding gown, bridal accessories from The Poppy Shop. The groom looked dashing in a tuxedo from Otrebla’s Tailoring. RETRO Studio provided glamorous hair and make-up services.
The floral design from Specialties Florals & Events was a jaw-dropping display that helped accentuate the natural beauty of the barn while testing the limits of traditional wedding florals.
Our vision for the cake was to be modern & unique while carrying out the square concept used within the tables. The Bakehouse of Aberdeen nailed it and created a four tiered cake that stood tall on 3 glass cylinders filled with calla lilies. With the help of Specialties Florals & Events, each layer was held by floating tulips inside acrylic boxes. It tasted as good as it looks!
Each tabletop design was curated with rentals from CE Rental and Greenhouse Picker Sisters. Mason Dixon Designs hand calligraphed invitations, menu cards, table numbers and other signage. Each table carried its own design while cohesively staying with the concept. The wrapped belly band around the menu cards matched exactly to the design on the cocktail table linen! Such talent by Mason Dixon Designs!
Rocky Top Catering cooked up their favorite small plates while On The Rocks Bartending blended their favorite recipes for refreshing cocktails & bubbly!
