In a sea of rustic barns, The Cloth Mill at Eno River stands out as a unique, industrial and urban event venue with many offerings. In Hillsborough, North Carolina, The Cloth Mill is one of our favorite venues to work with!

Originally a cotton mill that operated from 1897 to 1984, this historic building offers a large, open space for receptions and ceremonies inside. A bridal suite and a groom’s suite with leather couches, tv’s, and decor are the perfect place to hang with your bridal party and create the perfect backdrops for photos. 

One of the reasons we love this venue is its unique look and feel. It is unlike many venues around the Raleigh-Durham area in this way. It has exposed wooden beams that are original to the Mill, as well as exposed brick, air ducts and wooden floors. 

Cathedral windows line the interior room that bring in natural light and look over the courtyard. No need to worry about brown grass during the off seasons here, astroturf has recently been installed to provide a lush green landscape every day of the year! 

The ceremony space is an open air courtyard lined with original brick and overlooks the steam stack that is iconic to the Mill. Market lights strung overhead fill the space with warm light during the evenings. You can even enjoy a fire pit and s’mores station! We love to set out lounges during receptions so the guests can enjoy this incredible space.

The owner, Nicole Clayton, gives a top-notch venue experience that you won’t be disappointed with.  She also provides a top quality bar tending service, On The Rocks Bartending, so you don’t have to worry a bit about providing alcohol to your guests.
