Golden Birthday.  What is a Golden Birthday you ask? A Golden Birthday is a special, unique, once-in-a-lifetime event that occurs when you turn the age of your birthdate.  I had no idea this even existed until we were talking with a friend and she asked when my daughter’s birthday was and how old she would be turning.  She replied, “February 10th and I will be turning 10”.  And our friend said, “oh my, it’s your GOLDEN Birthday!” So from that point forward, Mama here had to plan her “Golden Birthday!”

As you can imagine, everything was Golden!  We had a Golden “V” for her friends to sign well wishes, Golden cupcakes, Golden flatware, Golden cake stands, Golden straws, and of course, everyone had to wear something gold!  Including her brother with his Gold bow tie!  It was a “fancy” birthday party for sure.  And she said it was the very best birthday, EVER!  All the kids thought is was the coolest party!
